Welcome to the Home of the Maratoto Challenge, proudly supporting Hikutaia School.

Congratulations to all our past competitors, and welcome to our new entrants. Our events offer a real challenge to even the most experienced of mountain bikers and hardened runners deep in the heart of the beautiful Maratoto Valley. With such positive feedback from all competitors we are holding the 11th Maratoto Challenge on 12th November 2011.

 On foot or bike, we have the Challenge to meet your need.
There are three distances on offer: 21km, 10km and a fun 5km run.

 Last years Relay event proved enjoyable and those teams enjoyed the competition and fun aspect of completing a 21km, this event will again be on offer this year.

If you have an interest in possibly entering a 42km distance please email Sharon by October, 2011 - If we have enough interest we shall organise this distance.

All the information to take you to your choice of Challenge Event is on this site, so print out and send your registration today, early bird entries go in a draw for a great prize.
